In the 8th grade I had to memorize the poem "If" by Rudyard Kipling.
At the tender age of 14, it meant little, if anything, to me. But as I grow older and gain years of experience, it speaks volumes.
Take a look at the first line -
"If you can keep your head when all about you
are losing theirs and blaming it on you;"
Does that not describe our day-to-day lives? Our politics?
I think it does - do you? So today, I'm working on keeping my head while all around me folks are losing theirs and blaming it on others.
