Check out the Singing at Molino Park link under Pioneer Poet Recommends! to see pictures and story about our performance of "Stand Up America" at the Veteran's Day celebration. This was so much fun and the children sang along on the chorus. What a great song we wrote and we have already been on quite a journey since we wrote it. This song has taken us to performances at Highland Baptist Church in Molino, FL, at Pine Forest United Methodist Church in Pensacola, FL, and at Molino Park Elementary School. Even though this song did not even place in the USA Songwriting Contest we will continue to sing it and follow it wherever it leads.
Sheila and I will be singing it at Open Mic during the Frank Brown International Songwriting Festival this weekend at Orange Beach, AL. Maybe it will find a home with someone there and will eventually get on the radio. Dream, dream, dream.....
