The past week or so has been very fast-paced and exciting! My songwriting collaborator, Sheila, and I have been writing a new song. The great news is that a local gospel quartet named Lookin' Up has decided to perform that new song. After hearing one of Lookin' Up's performances a few weeks ago, Sheila and I were inspired to write a song for them. We were so inspired that the ideas we came up with were so similar that the song came together in about an hour! We performed the song for them this week and they loved it! They'll be working it into their program soon and I'll let ya'll know when it will be performed. Hopefully it will also soon be available for a listen online and I'll give you the link when I have it.
