I just completed another wonderful book titled The Friends We Keep by Sarah Zacharias Davis. Interesting observations were made about different types of friends we have or have had throughout our lives. Friends of childhood, friends at work, friends at church, friends with the parents of your children's friends, etc. It also delved into the deeper question of why we need friends and how friends not only shape our lives but tell us a lot about ourselves. This book really got me thinking about my friends and why I am friends with certain people and not friends with others. I'm a person that has always had friends and made friends easily. However I don't have a lot of friends and don't feel I need a lot of friends. I'm comfortable with a few, close friends. All other "friends" I classify as acquaintances. I choose very, very few close friends. What about you?
Have a blessed day!
